He is an active member of ABANA (Artist Blacksmith Association of North America) and NWBA (Northwest Blacksmith Association) who bi-annually host professional blacksmiths from every continent. France, Italy, England, Israel, Chile, Mexico, Korea, and Australia are a few of the countries that have sent artist blacksmiths to teach at the conferences.
